The Yahata Higashi ward is one of four areas nationwide that has been selected as a "generation energy, societal system demonstration area."
In fact, the number of old people in this city is increasing every day, it makes the city turn into a "desert area" where there is no connection between people. Additionally, the greens space in this area is not much, and the factory’s landscape area is not regarded as important.
The solution is to create the community link by letting the citizen change the ecosystem of the city together. Organic farming will be the solution to provide a clear food supply for the whole area, which will become a community connection space. Aquaponic farming is a suitable solution in the situation of lacking cultivated land and the lack of the connection between the citizens.  And it also can improve the sadness of this area.

The first is the re-establishment of the river system started from Mount Sarakura and flow to the west to serve the aquaponic model and the residential agriculture. The canal system will run under aquaponic farm. This circulation follows a self-adjusting and self-regulating system (canal - tree - fish - canal), a large amount of water from the river and rain water will be utilized for agriculture and the life of people.
